School is sure different now than it was when I was a kid.

If Jack helped you off the horse, would you you help Jack off the horse?

Socialization for the disabled and handicapped can often be quite awkward. What better way to get up close and personal, so to speak. I may be wrong but within minutes this experience probably releases much built up tension.

When I was a kid, just holding hands was ridden with anxiety. "Ice breakers" like this would have been so much better.

Interesting. The Pratt Tribune, Pratt KS' only newspaper, is published about 90 miles west of here. My own HS alma mater, Kingman, is mentioned in the article. I don't recall that "service" being offered when I was in school. Thanks for the posting.
