The neo-fascist Democrats have a new finale solution for everything. Basically what I can get from it so far is the idea is to eliminate all jobs related fossil fuels and all methane producing animals with in ten years. That sounds like a real winner the Democrats sound go for it full force. It should do wonders for both US and Chinese economies. . This is a great leap forward.

I guess I am a Neo-fascist. According to the definitions I learned from Utah Phillips, I thought I was an Anarchist. Then Paul Krugman showed me I am a socialist. (Quote from his column this week): Some progressive U.S. politicians now describe themselves as socialists, and a significant number of voters, including a majority of voters under 30, say they approve of socialism. But neither the politicians nor the voters are clamoring for government seizure of the means of production. Instead, they’ve taken on board conservative rhetoric that describes anything that tempers the excesses of a market economy as socialism, and in effect said, “Well, in that case I’m a socialist.”

I have no trouble with the rantings of our youngest congress-critter, AOC. She is young. Her rants lack focus, but they are aimed in the right direction as much as I can tell. Her critics from the GOP seem to leap on them with great nervous shouting. That only persuades me she is on the right track.

Again I am reminded of Utah Phillips, speaking at a school graduation ceremony where the speaker following him was a local politician. Utah declared that the students were about to be told that they are America's most valuable natural resource. "Have you seen what they do with valuable natural resources? Have you seen a strip mine or a clear-cut forest?"

One of my favorite jokes involves a long story about a young cowboy on his first trip to the big city. The punch line is 'well, I guess I am a lesbian"

Ocasio-Cortez has gotten media attention way out of proportion to her significance...

I know there are a a lot of lefties (including many working as cable news show hosts in the mainstream media) who would love to pretend that she is somehow representative of some sort of imagined "progressive wave" in the midterm elections...

The reality is she is just a young lefty who beat an old lefty in a Democratic primary in a bright blue lefty district that was going to be represented by a lefty regardless...

Center/left moderate liberal members of Congress like Conor Lamb are far more representative of the types of candidates that enabled the Dems to flip the districts necessary to retake control of the Congress then a fringie like AOC...

The Democrats forget this at their peril for 2020...
