I like my train to go a long, long way . . . so I'm a proponent of TWELVE chugga chuggas, in sets of four each, topped of course by a very enthusiastic CHOO! CHOO!!

A cadence of eight 'chuggas" (or four "chugga chuggas") per CHOO CHOO! would seem to me to be the optimal ratio...

I think at least ten chuggas are required before a choo choo. Anything less would be premature and anti-climactic.

Two if it's a quick hit. If you're going for the full effect, eight (two sets of four) chugga's per choo choo. Anything else is psychotic.
