I can't use Facebook Newsfeed -- again. I keep getting "Welcome to Facebook... Get started by adding friends. You'll see their videos, photos and posts here" message as though I am a newbie.

Is anyone else having a problem with FB Newfeed?

Was that just today? They had a widespread outtage this morning that left millions unable to access the platform.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
