... and then everything was normal again.

37 years ago I began my entry into womanhood with the arrival of my first period.
I was as crook as a dog.
Vomiting, diarrhea, temperatures, cold sweats, cramps, extreme flows.
I swore to myself at that point that this was irrefutable proof that God was a man. A woman would NEVER do that to another woman.
After 37 years of putting up a brave fight, taking lots of drugs and hormones (most of which I was apparently allergic too as well) I have finally been given my date for surgical removal of the bitch uterus I have been carrying with me for my life.
I couldn't be happier.
I owe it all to the Hatch as well. For many years I always swore that out of my uterus and me, I would end up being the last one standing in this monthly fight I hold. She wanted to know why I didn't just have the bitch removed? I really couldn't give a good reason for not going for surgical intervention ... so now I am.
Thank fuck for that. (This could have gone on for another decade).
Thanks baby. Not only were you the best thing to happen to eminate from me uterus, you were also far smarter than me and my uterus put together!

Good on you Hen. Tanacia went through the process last year with much fear and foreboding. She had polyps that precede cancer.
While any major surgery is scary; everything turned out fine. No more curse. And the sex is just as good as it always was. (Some woman experience dryness and a decrease in sex drive.)
She is still able to get juicy wet and have multiple orgasms.
So go for it. We will be thinking of you.

I could have had mine taken out when I had tumor/ovary removed last July. I didn't, because in the short time preceeding surgery I was subject to a great deal of pressure from friends/SO/family - "BUT, you might still want to have a baby!".
I wish now that I had had it removed, as was my first inclination.
On the upside, I had an IUD inserted following surgery and after a few months of irritating side effects, it appears to have done away with my menses. Thank goddesses!
Congrats, Hen. I'm sure you'll be happy with the results!

Me too, I've never had much interest in conceiving. Your tale makes me consider whether if I should have the offending organ removed before it causes any hormone trouble?
Congrats, and Good luck, Hen!

Thanks all for your thoughts.
I am glad the IUD worked for you BSG. Nothing worked for me. : )
Lo, I would never recommend major interventive surgery to anyone.
My hormone issues began when I started menstruating. We think we worked out why.
According to my doctor I am allergic to estrogen and should never taken it in any form. I include naturally occoring estrogen in that.
I guess I should have been born a bloke.

"Pouf"?? WTF is that? Another Aussie perversion of 'Poof'? Or is that 'Poof' with the pinky extended? You highbrow bastards... Dang. You buggers worry me at times.
And your place is beside your woman. And I know that is exactly where you will be.
Here's a heads up though strop me mate. Get out the porn. Get out the Lemmy. (whatever that is) Get out the hand cream, cantaloupe - whatever. Because you ain't getting it for bit. And there may be some hormonal changes.
But it is all worth it. Trust me.

I got rid of it and was glad. Sometimes when I hear another female complaining I get a happy little thrill thinking that I never again have to worry about it again.

OMG. My bitch of a uterus is actually having the last laugh.
I was expecting to be in the throws of my last period at the moment, You can run nuclear clocks off my uterus. It is always constant.
Well this period basically DIDN'T happen.
Just a drop really.
I take it as my uterus's way of telling me I am just about to go in for an unnecessary surgical procedure as my period stopped at the last possible moment.
God I hate you uterus. Only one good thing ever came out of you.
Now fuck off and die.

I'm sensing the makings of a new musical/opera, in which the lead role is a vicious cunt (literally)
