I always said Twatter was a waste of time.

I stand corrected.

Because I have accounts on both, and they're both a waste of time.

Oh, you mean how can I tell the difference? Twatface and Snapbook have different presentations.

One:

The Other:

More specifically, MyFace has "likes," "shares" and emojis, while Twitagram has "hearts," "retweets" and "no, fuck YOU."

I'm surprised you have those accounts, although I concur with your review, at least with regard to the first one as the posts above show.

I almost never use FacePlace anymore, largely due to their horrid policies concerning advertising and use of personal info; Twister is at least aware that it is a virtual hellscape, and there are some interesting people with some good jokes, plus it's got a lot of doggie videos. Also, the @NJgov account will occasionally make you proud to be a Jerseyite (although they have sided with the faction that claims the existence of a "Central Jersey," which is clearly a hoax).

I never saw the value of Twitter, but it clearly has value to a lot of people since it played a key role in getting someone elected president.

There is a lot not to like about how Facebook does business, but their basic format allows a lot of people to stay connected which is why so many of us use it despite its drawbacks. With respect to the advertising, I don't think I've clicked on a FB ad in years and rarely even notice them.

The original post in this thread seems to be friends having a laugh, as opposed to actually asking a question. But maybe I'm the moron then?

I'm pretty sure you're right, but unless one is part of that group it makes for pretty pointless reading.
