For those willing to use Twitter - follow Dr. Lucy Jones @DrLucyJones. She is a seismologist, with great explanations of the Puerto and Jamaican quakes, why they are different/unrelated, and why Tsunami warnings are triggered (or not). She also runs the Dr. Lucy Jones Center for Science and Society @DLJCSS. Really great stuff for those of us who are sciencey inclined.

From all the pictures we see of liquor store damage after earthquakes, it appears as though God really doesn't like them.

Same with trailer parks and tornadoes.
A friend of Doc's, one of only two B-29 bombers still flying.
