Cute! But actually fairly effective would be material from a HEPA vacuum bag.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Yuk! Thanks for nothing BSG. I emptied the material from my bags and it was pretty nasty. Kept getting fluff and spiders (dead) up my nose.

But seriously, order some high quality HEPA vacuum bags (Miele makes a great one) and use the BAG material to make a mask, or to line a cloth mask. This material is closest to N95 mask material.
