Greetings from isolation!
I thought I'd drop in to see how everybody's doing.

So what's new? Who's new? I see a few old faces (as it were) but so many seem to be missing: Whatever happened to Loca, Quaddy, ummm... Editec, Steve, Gandalf, Rangermom, WinDar and all my other besties?

Is this still the place to be or have the aforementioned created a bigger, better forum?

Tolerable, old chap. Tolerable. Rather the opposite of myself, really. Just got bummed out by news that my nephew in the USA died (not the lurgy; heart) and Expedia cancelled all our June/July flights to UK/USA/France. Not entirely unexpected. Hope all goes well with you and yours as we all head into the cold part of the year.

I didn't remember Sean either. I had to check for his posting history. He disappeared in Dec 2016, about a year after I arrived upon the demise of Le Chat House when both administrators (Denniz de Menniz and Tess) died. I can't believe it has been nearly five years.
So where were you locked up Sean?

IIRC Dennis was buried in a cemetery very near the accident site as his brother, apparently his only relative, didn't give a ...
I can't find anything on Tess/Teresa Smith, but I think she died after Dennis.

Yes I read that Denniz (Dennis Meinert) was buried in Illinois close to the accident site. He lived in St Louis at the time. And there was an obituary of Tess but I can't find it now. Tess died shortly after Denniz - only a couple of weeks IIRC - because I remember in one of her last posts she told us that she was in no fit state to take over the board. We all knew that her cancer had returned but I don't think we realized how serious it was until she told us that there was a hospice room ready for her in a week or so; but I don't think, in the end, that she made it there.

Good to see you, Sean! Last I heard of Quaddy, he was still being required to sit in the corner of an IRS office wearing a dunce cap. They let him keep his job but he is now a registered text offender.

It occurs to me that someone returning to the board who hasn't been here since BT, (Before Trump) who just started reading my current posts, might get the impression that I had turned into some sort of liberal Democrat...

Your guess is as good as mine. Tess never had any deep background to share, and rightly so. Maybe they were cat fanciers. (She loved her cats.)

Emails were few and far between but she always asked about my health. Ironically, she died before me.
