I would not say
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

Re: What can we say about virtue signalling?
Without knowing any semaphore, you are looking for a well known phrase or saying which has the form ABCD EAA - the last two letters of the second word are the same as the first letter in the first word. If you can't get it from that, you should jolly well scarper and do so effectively, efficiently and promptly. Just sayin'.
Re: What can we say about virtue signalling?
You cracked the code.
What can we say about virtue signalling?
Code? Hell, I just read the signs.
It was much less complicated.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

I have fond memories of my semaphore year at college.
People who are wrong are just as sure they're right as people who are right. The only difference is, they're wrong.

ASL and other interpreters would have been redundant and probably unwelcome.

When I was a scout, I chose to learn Morse Code rather than semaphore.Bicycle Bill wrote: ↑Wed Jul 15, 2020 11:07 pmI see I still remember my Boy Scout semaphore, and I don't have to give back my Eagle badge.
Electronics and radio were what I saw in my future.
Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.
