Not really.

If Daunte Wright would've not tried to break away while being cuffed, he would be alive.

He didn't deserve to be shot, but if he would've followed commands, things certainly would've turned out differently.

At least until he got back to the station.

Since he was charged with two misdemeanors he could've bonded out and been on his way home.

Meaning cops killing a guy for resistance in a misdemeanor arrest might well be capable of anything behind closed doors. Maybe, maybe not; but I wouldn't trust them.
