Remember when the man was ridiculed for having admitted to committing adultery "in his heart"? Regardless of whether one believes that to be a thing, it speaks to how seriously he takes his marriage vows and examines his commitment to them.

I remember when Paul Harvey used to recognize couples that had been married 50, 60 years or more on his radio commentary, citing them as 'winners' in what he dubbed "The Tounament of Roses".  It was a long time ago, but I don't recall anyone else marking 75 years "on their way to together forever".
