RIP Liz. One of the most beautyful women in the world.

RIP indeed.

I was never a great fan of her, or her work, but she surely lead the true star life.

(What she did to Rosie Probert has always held her down in my esteem, unforgivable.)

That wasn't her best film, was it?

Not by a long shot, but having said that, it should not detract from her body of work.

Just a particular hang up of mine...

Liz Taylor was a hero. She stepped up when almost everyone else was too AIDS phobic to do anything, and put the disease front and centre in the public consciousness. It was a completely selfless move that could have cost her dearly, given the attitudes of the time, but she didn't let that stop her.

She was buried with Richard Burton's last letter to her .... which is as sweet and lovely as it gets.

How come you get things so right when speaking about dead people? Whatever else she was/did, I think this element of her life showed true class
