This morning's was as close as I get to "getting angry" at this puzzle. Frustrating.

I'll admit, it was as much good fortune as good playing.  I'll explain:

Sometimes knowing what letters are NOT in the word can be even more valuable than knowing which ones ARE there.  With my first two attempts, I had already eliminated four of the five vowels, and five of the more common consonants.  Given the sole remaining vowel and the consonant that I did find (and fortunately finding it in its correct position) meant that there weren't a whole lot of other options.

Meade, you can cheat on any of ‘em by using a second device. But why would you? I love the act of solving; don’t care that much about how many tries it takes.

ETA: I like to see other people‘s results more to get a sense of their strategy, or to try to figure out their starting word. I don’t particularly care what anyone’s “score” is.

I call shenanigans on that last one I never heard of that word before today

In quordle I use my first two guesses to use up all vowels and moderately common letters my first word uses the 3 less common vowels which I use as my primary word elsewhere. I figure I can use the following guesses to use the common letters so by the last guess I’ll have process of eliminationed my way to the answer
