Starry Messenger

Science, art, politics - life! So I chose general stuff.
Just watched an interview on The Beat with Neil deGrasse Tyson, discussing his new book Starry Messenger: Cosmic Perspectives on Civilization.
What he said toward the end moved me to tears, but in any case it sounds like a terrific argument for science to predominate in political life and everyone to be free to practice their own expression of spirituality, or not.
I know, the rabid religious who need the message the most won’t read it. But at least it’s a salve to the choir and perhaps some open minded people might find some enlightenment in it.
I’ve put a hold on one of my library’s copies.
