I happened to watch a YouTube video today made by someone who calls himself a "Credit Expert" and obviously has no clue but has over 10,000 subscribers. With that many people subscribing to his channel, he is likely causing at least a few people to get into some kind of legal and/or financial trouble. Rather than posting the video, because his videos are monetized and sharing the video here might possibly put money in his pocket, I thought instead that I'd share a very profound statement that he made. He has a knack for saying things that I'm sure he even doesn't even understand.
In the video he is being interviewed. He responds to the interviewer's confusing question with the following reply:
"Because a lot of consumers don't know the things that they don't know, the people who do know the things that they don't know, use the things that they don't know against them because they just don't know it."
“As we know, there are known knowns. There are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns. That is to say, we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns. The ones we don’t know we don’t know.”
