Angela Lansbury is dead.

Lansbury died at 1:30am PDT on 11 October 2022, five days before her 97th birthday, at her home in Los Angeles. Her children issued a statement saying that Lansbury had died "peacefully in her sleep." (from Wikipedia today)
A blatant example of fake news. Clearly there is a conspiracy at the highest levels to conceal Ms Lansbury's murder. She was a long-time resident of Cabot Cove, Maine, living under the false identity of 'Jessica Fletcher'. We have all seen many pictures of her walking around in this town. It is an indisputed fact that Cabot Cove Me has the highest per capita murder rate of any place in the world.
Is Q involved?

That is not true.; Midsomer county in England has been depopulated by murder to the point the county has disappeared. If you don't believe me, try to find it on a map of England.

I'm with liberty on that one. Midsomer County has had an average of two murders a week for 21 years now. It's streets ahead of Cabot Cove.

Ah, Mr. Liberty, Had not condsidered that. Just went along with the conventional wisdom that the USofA is the most violent country and so Cabot Cove must be the worst. I do believe that Midsomer has problem. I noticed that the police department there has a problem keeping employees -- terrible turnover below the top level. Perhaps they could look at the management policies at whatever the location is for Father Brown.

When I moved to Maine in 1989 the show was in full swing of popularity. Mainers would laugh about how tourists would ask where is Cabot Cove. Of course anyone who has ever been to Maine would know that the show was never filmed there, the California coast looks entirely different.

Also heard that some Scottish actor name of Robbie Coltrane has also shuffled off this mortal coil. He played Russian underworld kingpin Valentin Dmitrovich Zukovsky in a couple of the Pierce Brosnan-era James Bond movies.
Oh, and he had a recurring role as a member of the Hogwarts staff in the 'Harry Potter' franchise.
