One of the highest rated US TV hosts, Tucker Carlson, is leaving Fox News, the US media giant has announced. In a statement, Fox said that the network and Mr Carlson have agreed to "part ways".
His last TV program was Friday 21 April, the statement added. His prime time slot will now be hosted by a series of interim hosts until a permanent replacement is found. The brief, two paragraph statement gave no reason for the decision.

I am simultaneously thrilled and terrified by this news. Obviously getting this toxic piece of shit off the airwaves even temporarily is good for the health of this country - but my fear is that he might turn his attention to politics himself, and that would be an absolute disaster.

Why was Tucker Carlson fired? Was Rupert Murdoch pressured by George Soros? Was he getting to close to discovering how Hunter Biden was selling intelligence to the Chinese? Was it all set up by the Trans Mafia in an attempt to push Critical Race Theory? These are serious questions!

Are those your own words / questions? You've got them set off as a quote ... so if you are quoting anyone, who?
Uncredited quotes from unidentified or nebulous sources may be OK for Fox News, OANN, Newsmax, or YooHoo, but I'd like to think we hold ourselves to a higher standard around here.
And again with Hunter Biden? So what if he was selling anything? Shit, Trump flat-out gave more info to the Russians than Benedict Arnold — who, unlike wanna-be Generalissimo Bonespurs, actually did serve in the military — ever handed over to the British.

Apparently, it wasn't pushing lies about a "stolen election" or promoting white supremacism or even the $787 million payout to Dominion Voting Systems that got him canned. It was the obnoxious sexism, misogyny and bigotry that was rampant in Carlson's studio, illuminated by former producer Abby Grossberg's lawsuit. Although that just may have been the last straw. In any event, Carlson evidently didn't see it coming. Good riddance.

Yes, I'm pretty sure that if I had cost my company $785 million in a lawsuit they would have fired me. Heck, I think if I had cost them $785 - let alone the millions - they would have canned me.
