I think by stage right he means red state America, no? I would put money on Florida or Texas, those seem to be the in vogue places for right wing celebrities to escape to. Or Montana, come to think of it - she’s taking a lead on white Christian nationalism these days and the movie stars love to play dude ranch there.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
