Alternative forms...

:crimenetly

:criminetly

An expression of annoyance or surprise

Anyone else know/remember that expression?

I just asked a friend and he said he never heard of it. I remember hearing it a lot when I was young. At one point I figured people were saying 'Crime in Italy'.

I found it on the internet so I can't be the only one....

Yep, I recall it. Always thought it was crim-e-nently but apparently it's crime-n-ently

Interwebs she say it's from "criminy" (crime-n-ee) which was a sub for "Christ Almighty!" as "All (or Oh) Gor Blimey" was a sub for "May God blind me" and 'Bloody" for "By our Lady".

Thsi is a new one for me; maybe it's a regionalism. I recall "crimony", but I think only from British movies and books.

I always thought it was 'criminately' (cry-mih-NAT-eh-lee) — a portmanteau of 'criminy' (see above) and 'definitely' or 'absolutely', from where came the '-ately' suffix.

It was used by adults around me when I was a pre-teen and earlier. I have/had no idea about its accurate meaning. From the context I took it as an expression of protest about some thing that was just way outside the bounds of normality. But not necessarily criminal.

"Crimently! Just look at that new Studebaker. You can't tell the front from the back!

Never heard it, still can't pronounce it, won't ever use it. Some words are meant to die.

Clicking that video was literally the first time I have ever heard anyone say the word. Odd, I thought had a pretty good vocabulary.

I've heard the word crimony many times in films (and saw it used a number of times in The Far Side), but never heard the word criminently used; I still imagine the usage is regional.

Same for me. I think I've also seen it spelled "criminy".
