Freedom of Speech at Twitter/X?

Post by Joe Guy »

I have a (free/unverified) Twitter/X account. I've probably commented less than 50 times in the couple of years I've had it. Today there was a thread where someone asked for an "Amen" from everyone who is "praying for Trump to win the election".

I posted "Bind Trump and cast him into the bottomless pit" and within a few seconds the following screen popped up:

I refreshed my browser and then this window popped up:

Oh well. I'm not going to delete it. I guess now I'm an ex-X member. Elon Musk's concept of freedom of speech appears to limit what a person can say about Trump.

Dr. Evil Musk is controlling the conversation.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

I guess the religious zealots who control the board missed the Revelation reference; and misunderstood that if you can pray for the antichrist/Satan to win, you can also pray to have him bound and cast into the pit. And I am surprised that the members of the board include the angels, the only beings who could do that.

Nevertheless, I avoided Twitter before, and wouldn't waste my time on X. It's not worth my time or attention.

Perhaps, but not good enough IMHO.
