It's called a Penrose Triangle; and just last week I bought a biography of Roger Penrose (Nobel Prize in Physics for black hole research) called 'The Impossible Man.' Penrose and his father - also a renowned academic - worked with Escher on some designs.

Joe, you could use it for a bookend on your bookshelf, right next to your copy of 'Godel, Escher & Bach' I am giving a copy of 'I Am A Strange Loop' to a grandson for Xmas this year.
