I did a Google search for Neil Young and this was one of the results....



I know Neil doesn't look like his younger self but I was surprised at how different Joni Mitchell is looking nowadays.

I used to quite fancy Joni but I am cured of that now. Thank you Joe.

Sometimes I'm rather impressed by the intellect exhibited by the men posting here, but then there are times when the middle school boy emerges and I wonder WTAF? I guess some men never mature beyond it.

Here is Joni in her most recent public appearance, in support of those who endured the LA fires this past winter.

Wow, she got old just like you geezers will - she's 81 in this performance, she'll be 82 next month - and she lives with a disabling chronic illness to boot. But she can still make people weep with the beauty and wisdom of her lyrics - and the emotion she imparts in sharing them.

I'm confident that Joni is mentally mature enough to understand that the joke is on Google, not her.

BSG knows that the "joke" is that Nils Lofgren is named as 'Joni Mitchell".

This may have been a real headline above a rumor - such as that Joni might play Glastonbury (she never did) at the same time as Young and Crazy Horse (of which Lofgren is a member for a billion years). Or it may have been a meme created for ho ho laffs.

Perhaps Joe thought it was a mistake and BSG thinks it was a product of sophomoric intent. Both are probably correct.
