I was thinking earlier to day that we've had some folks sort of fade away around here, (folks who were more active who either now post very rarely or not at all) and I thought I would start a thread that would give folks a chance to mention some people they'd like to see more of....

In my case their are two in particular; General Meade and American Woman....

I saw after I came back that Meade had put up a couple of recent posts, but this place could definitely benefit from more contributions from him. And I really miss @W's acerbic wit and no BS approach. She really added a lot to this place.

There was a time Andrew would have been on my short list, but no more. (I noticed when I came back that he immediately started trolling me, and when I refused to take the bait and play his reindeer game, he apparently lost interest and wandered off. It a real shame about what's happened to him. He used to be a great contributor, but since last spring 90% of his posts were either nasty shitballs or whinging "I'm the victim" self-pity. The stench of burning martyr has risen from many of his posts. Oh well, he isn't the first once good poster who lost it.)

So those are my top two, Meade and @W.



And of course, Steve.....

I once admired Andrew D a fairly good deal, but the trolling episode last spring that ultimately drove @w away destroyed that admiration entirely. No amount of intelligence excuses the kind of hatefulness he too often exhibits toward his target of the moment; at least not in my humble worldview.

I also miss AndyH, though he only posted here once.

As to posters who've not been here but who I miss - Mortibus. I like to think he might someday find his way here - and I refuse to think it isn't possible.

I would certainly miss quad if he weren't here.

Any time I need a good laugh, I just ask him to give evidence to support one of his lies.

I was never on most of those radar.

I did sent @w a message that she would be missed.

I was trying to send one to LJ but he started posting again so I retracted.

Can't think of the Boston lawyers name immediately but I noticed she is nolonger a reagular poster, not as regular as she used to be, proly off drowning kittens.

I'm still in correspondence with Andy off board. He's got so much work on his hands with the current predicament in the US, and a recent promotion (not to mention some other matters,) that he finds it hard to get any spare time.

He'd love to indulge but we are a low priority at the moment.

Yet another in a long history of posts documenting how quad-liar doesn't think before he posts.

Instead, he constantly stumbles, hems & haws and attempts to explain what he really meant when he made one of his dumbass assertions.

I would predict his exact response again but it's much too easy.

Just be prepared to read a claim from quad that he is correct even though it is already well documented that he is not only wrong, he is also well documented as a liar.
