Well, that explains it! You know I surf YouTube, and just yesterday I watched one of these 'joke presents'. I should try to find it, it wasn't one of these; it was a little girl getting dish soap and a slice of cheese. I was wondering, why the parents would do that

This must be a cultural thing. I didn't find anything amusing in the clip apart from the girl who started to crack her eggs.

It would be karma for the mother if she managed to smear it in the carpet.

Definitely kinda mean. I can't say I'd be wanting to disappoint my kid and mess with his/her Xmas excitement just to create fodder for late night TV. I wonder how many submissions he got?
