I'd stop and have a look, if I was in LA.
LACMA is a good museum, they have the Armand Hammer collection(s), iir, and its right next to the famous "Tar Pits" museum. I took my wife there for our 2nd anniversary; she still talks about it! Giant ground sloths, mammoths, Smilodon and now a really big-ass rock. What's not to like?

'allow'? No. But will it happen anyway? yes! S. California has been a climbing hotbed since the 70s.
