A Rube Line.....

Post by Lord Jim »

8-) How many of our well meaning good hearted liberals would care to associate themselves with this:
Killing criminals is mostly driven by the emotional retardation of a part of the population who cannot achieve sexual release w/o killing someone.

yrs,
rubato
I'm prepared to wait.... 8-)

Sorry to be nitpicky, bit if discussion is needed, could that just be discussed in the thread it originated from? (wherever that it, and whatever context it is or isn't in)

I thought we'd had enough of dragging grudges all over the forum.
Didn't we just ban someone for (over)doing that?

Again, apologies. But it feels like this whole crow-picking-eyes thing is moving from one person, to another, to another. Can't we all learn a lesson from what happened with locaTEK?

Alice, you may not have caught this, but I was recently accused of being beastly to this innocent, well meaning lad...

All I wanted to do was set the record straight, and let his words speak for themselves....

From now on, whenever anyone 'round these parts expresses a view that reveals themselves to be delusional enough to think rube is an innocent victim, I will simply repost this:
Killing criminals is mostly driven by the emotional retardation of a part of the population who cannot achieve sexual release w/o killing someone.

yrs,
rubato
And hopefully that will jar them back to reality....

I concur!

And for the record, as one who has familiarized herself with forensic psychology, there is a segment of the murderous population that achieves sexual climax from the act. This is well accepted in the criminal forensic psychology field.

And I simply don't see how that remark should personally offend any poster on the board. I will say again, as one who came after 'the event', whatever it was, that I don't see how this poster's comments on various topics deserves such responses.

But then, I also don't get how someone wants to sit down to dinner with some who has accused them of being a lying scam artist.

Oh good lord....

My flabber is completey gasted...

I can not believe you are actually trying to defend this...

Words fail me...

(And that doesn't happen very often....)

Let me show you this one more time:
Killing criminals is mostly driven by the emotional retardation of a part of the population who cannot achieve sexual release w/o killing someone.

rubato
You find that stunningly ignorant statement to be something you can agree with? That you can make excuses for?

Really? That's quite amazing...

I....uhh.....don't know where to go with that....

The command of the verbiage that others here have eludes me.

However I can guarantee I don't get a nut every time someone dies...

Before I saw that really bizarre post of BSG's , I had decided to post apologizing for creating a "drama thread"...

And to take responsibility for having created a thread that was obviously directed towards one person...
And just take it on the chin....

But after seeing BSG's strange post......

I can not in good conscience do that....

Oh, I'm sorry, I misread the quote.

I do believe that those who vehemently support the death penalty are emotionally and intellectually . . . limited. Yes, I believe that.

And I also believe that LJ and others have a hard on for attacking rubato, no matter how sensible anything he says might be. I think this was a point on which even Andrew D and I agreed, if I recall correctly. Weird, that.

Clearly some personal conflict is required for some to be happy here.

Duly noted.

To be honest, your attitude towards rubato reminds me of the women who wanted to get "involved" with Richard The Night Stalker " Ramirez, in Southern California....

Very odd....

To be quite frank, I don't think I'm the one who has a "hard on" for rubato...

How about those such as myself that see the use of capital punishment on a case by case basis?

I would NEVER attack any poster who believes otherwise.

Your collective inability to acknowledge this obvious truth makes you all look like fools.

Is that a fact...

Oh good lord, did I really say that out loud?....

I want to take this moment to apologize for that comment...

It was rude and uncalled for; damn near as boorish as rube himself...

I'm not going to defend what Rubato has said but I am here defending his right to say it. He may have half strayed into personal attacks , but does anyone really think goading him is doing this place any good!

I reckon if you leave him alone put him on ignore if you must and move on, there are so many other things we could be talking about.

Sometimes rubato is an innocent victim - this thread being a prime example.

Fuck you, LJ.

If I don't agree with you, you have to start attacking me by slinging shit like that? I'm hot for rubato because I'm sick of you always wanting to get into shit with somebody - Steve, editec, Gwen, Andrew D, loCA, rubato.

I didn't say it before because I didn't want to believe it; but sure enough, you'll start attacking me next so long as it gives you someone to sling mud at.

Grow the fuck up already.
