SJ Wildfire

On Saturday May 13th, SJFD Engine 10 responded to a "routine" vehicle fire on the freeway.... What happened soon after their arrival was not so "routine". Thankfully the San Jose Firefighter's on Engine 10 escaped injury.
This is another reminder that when you see an Emergency Vehicle on the side of the road with their red lights on that you should consider slowing down.... You never know what could happen and you might find yourself in the middle of a potentially dangerous situation, not only for yourself but also for the emergency responders on scene.
