No Daisy, this year it's the USA although I'm a bit guilty over not seeing mum... hope she hangs on until 2013! As it turns out, we have some family trouble near the mistake by the lake and it would be better if we could leave right now and come back earlier - but the tickets are already committed.
I'm not sure it is going to be a real break given what we will have to deal with - except from this cursed cold! Whodda thunk that a boy from NE Ohio where we get over 100inches of snow in winter (before global weirding) would complain about blue sky and sunny days - but the temperature inside the house is closer to 5C than the 25C outside.
It's thermal underwear, shirt and fleece jacket or die at the keyboard - and at night...... aaaargh!

Oh drat! If I wasn't booked for trials & summer meeting, I'd love that.
Try to let me know your 2013 travel plans a little earlier so I can plan.
