I just heard on my local radio station (KGO) "injuries are the leading cause of death for teenagers."

The subject was teen drivers.

If I listen to the radio I learn something new every day!!

Was that Ray Taliaferro subbing for Bernie Ward again?

That reminds me of my favorite government study....

They spent 300K to uncover the shocking fact that the number one reason teenage girls become sexually active before the age of 18 is "pressure from teenage boys"....

My favorite: "The violent crime rate is down, DESPITE THE FACT THAT prison populations are at the highest levels ever recorded."

Duh.

BTW, teenagers also die from DISEASE, suicide, and in the case of 16-year-old girls, boredom.
