Hiding....

In the last couple of weeks i have noticed when I log on to the board and it lets me know whos online that there always seems to be someone "hidden".
I don't get it...why would you "hide"...who gives a shit if your here or not?

LJ explained somewhere that he does it so he doesn't appear to be on the board 24/7 (even though we all know that he is...).
Everyone else does it because they're complete bastards!

I will put my hand up here and admit that admins can see who is hidden here.
Not that it makes a jot of difference to anything.

Yes it does... it means that the admins are also reading our PMs, rifling through our bank accounts and stealing our identities!

Sean is partially right...
As I explained, I have three computers that are on pretty much 24/7, and when I reboot I always save the browser settings; so consequently, it looks like I me here when I'm really not...
I decided to change my status to "hidden" because I was getting PMs from people who thought I was online to answer them when I wasn't. I thought using "hidden" would make it less confusing....
