10+ years of very lop-sided conflict and how is it that we're still not winning?
Because once we knocked Al Qaeda and the Taliban out of power the conflict was always for the Afghan people to win or lose. And they can only win by earning the hearts, minds, and courage of their own people. And they can only do that by showing that they can govern honestly; which we have not gotten them to do.
We can never do it for them, no matter how much better armed we are. We're just propping up another evil and corrupt regime like we did in Vietnam. Karzai and his cronys will all flee with their stolen wealth when the Taliban take over again.
