It's a Bush Tit Nest

this thread some of us decided that the nest I found in my backyard was an oriole's nest.
A friend with great knowledge of birds and their nests, I guess you could say she's a bird brain, told me that what I have in my backyard is actually a bush tit's nest.
In case anyone is interested...

When I googled" images bushtit nest" the pictures look a lot like what you have.
sounds like a good ID.

I googled Bushtit nest and came up with photos that looked strikingly similar to the one Joe submitted...

Yeah, me too...but where's the fun in that?
I hope Joe keeps us updated on the little tits as they emerge.
(In the meantime, I hope Jim will keep us updated if he finds those pics of Jenna and Barbara....)
