Here is a possible heads up for anyone who receives a phone call from Ontairo Canada. They have called me knowing I am a diabetic wanting personal information. My insurance numbers, social security number and other info. Here is the ph. #613-333-4567. The call back is actually a hotel in BFE Ontario.

Miles, as I posted elsewhere -- call your state attorney general, there may be a fraud hotline. If these folks actually know you're a diabetic, that is not information they should have access too. if they are just fishing, they also need to be stopped.

On the other hand, if one posts the fact that one is diabetic on boards available to anyone with internet access (like this one), the fact that far more people (and corporations, etc.) are aware of that fact is not surprising. Still, calling the Attorney General or the consumer fraud bureau or whatever is a good idea.

Called the Federal Trade Commission and they filed a complaint so they can investigate.
