Gee, you think?

HOWEVER...

... the State of Florida failed miserably to present a winning case. (They were ordered to fail -- convincingly, of course.) Let's hope the prosecutors are now on a fast learning curve so this type of miscarriage of justice doesn't happen again. Change the laws through legislation not by public opinion or conspiracy theories.

Most importantly, however, a jury of Zimmerman's peers has spoken.

Where's George?:

I think this lady is a sterling example of what we would hope all those who sit on a criminal jury would be...

She came in to the jury room with a personal opinion, then spent many hours reviewing the evidence and the law and concluded that her duty as a juror required her to reach a not guilty vote, even though she didn't like having to do it.

I'm not so sure that this sort of post-trial juror commentary has any value. While I recognize that "getting away with murder" is a colloquialism, it is a very bad one to use in this instance. There is no rational definition of "murder" that would apply to Z's conduct in this episode.

A pox on the prosecutor's office and on this particular state's attorney. One would be hard pressed to imagine a case brought or presented so poorly.

Look for Trayvon Martin to be elevated to mythic status in the news media.

In the meantime Blacks are killing other Blacks with wild abandon.

Look for Zimmerman to be murdered unless he changes his identity and leaves the area, or possibly the country.

'Knockout Game' perp shot, killed
During apparent burglary, ran into 'right person' with gun
Tiffany Thompson got her wish: Demetrius Murphy met the “Right Person” and he will not be playing the Knockout Game any more. Ever.

A St. Louis homeowner shot Murphy dead late last week during a burglary. And a whole lot of people in St. Louis feel relieved, if not safer.

Murphy was a member of a group that is credited with making the Knockout Game a St. Louis tradition, then a national pasttime.

The rules of the Knockout Game are simple: Begin with a bunch of black people. Anywhere from three to 30.

Find a white person, but an Asian will do. Alone is important. Older is better. Weak and defenseless even more so.

Without warning, punch that person in the face as hard as you can. You win if you score a Knockout.

If not, keep punching until your arms and legs get too tired to continue. Or the person dies.

You can play anywhere, but “vibrant and culturally mixed” neighborhoods are probably the best. That is where the victims are: Asians, “gays,” artists, yuppies, seniors , college students – people who won’t fight back.

Over the last two years, hundreds of people around the country have become victims. Some say over 100 in St. Louis alone. Some died. Others, like Murphy’s victim Matt Quain, suffered broken bones in his face and jaw.

Last week, four members of the national Championship Alabama football team were arrested after three played the game two times, and the fourth tried to use a debit card taken during the attacks.

Many of these cases of black mob violence are documented in the book “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return racial violence and how the media ignore it.”

Murphy and his friends were arrested in November 2011 when police found a 13-year-old girl who witnessed the Knockout Game assault on Quain. The charges were dismissed after she failed to show up. The mayor of St. Louis said there was no doubt in his mind the witness was intimidated and too frightened to testify. The mother of the witness said the same several months later.

USConcealedCarry.net/Free-ReportThe gang was jubilant, and took to FaceBook to say so. “FREE ALL MY TKO GUYS,” said one of the members of the mob that was freed, reported the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Two days later, two members of the group tracked down Quain and threatened him again.

He threatened them with pepper spray and they ran.

The pace of the Knockout Game picked up in other places with other victims. That is when Tiffany Thompson made her wish at a news site reporting the results of the latest St. Louis victim:

as a black woman i will say this, i wish they would run into the right person who is armed to defend themselves with a firearm…i bet we will see a drastic decrease in violence in our city. it is embarrassing and shameful – the image these losers portray of blacks in st louis. i do not and never will reside anywhere besides the suburbs of this city, because no one is safe among these savages. do not get angry when people call them thugs, because that is exactly what they are and no excuses can be made for this barbaric behavior! it’s disgusting!!!

That “right person” was a St. Louis homeowner who found Murphy and a friend in his backyard at 1:30 a.m.

Missouri citizens are protected by the so-called Castle Doctrine that allows the use of deadly force against intruders.

But Murphy’s friend, a 17-year-old man, was charged with murder because he was an accomplice to a felony where a person was killed.

Murphy’s grandfather, Paul Furst, told KSDK that Murphy was mentally challenged did not deserve to die:

I believe this is another one of the Trayvon Martin stories where people are getting so gun happy they shoot just on impulse now. I could understand if he was a threat. But on the property, he was not a threat.

Murphy’s grandfather had nothing to say to a neighbor who said he, too, was a victim of Murphy: Jonathan Preiss told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch:

“I live 3 houses down from where the shooting took place. I believe they are the ones who threw a rock and a brick into my window, stole my tv, ps3, wii and games as well right before this happened. They ransacked my room, no regard for my property. I am still freaked out over this whole thing. I hope this is a lesson of the consequences for violating my community’s privacy.”

Murphy was 15 years old.

I know, but I work so much I have a hard time keeping up the news and ST. Louis is not my area and I would bet this never made the national news.

New allegation made against Zimmerman in court

By MIKE SCHNEIDER, Associated Press
Updated 2:19 pm, Tuesday, November 19, 2013

SANFORD, Fla. (AP) — George Zimmerman's girlfriend said he tried to choke her about a week ago during an altercation that was not initially reported to police, a prosecutor told a judge Tuesday during Zimmerman's first court appearance on domestic violence-related charges.

Samantha Scheibe feared for her life because Zimmerman mentioned suicide and said he "had nothing to lose," according to Assistant State Attorney Lymary Munoz.

After the hearing, Zimmerman's public defenders said he did not appear to be suicidal and expressed confidence he would be acquitted of any wrongdoing.

Hours later, Zimmerman was released from jail after posting $9,000 bond. He was seen walking out of the jail smiling and getting into a car.

Judge Frederic Schott ordered him to stay away from Scheibe's house, wear a monitoring device and refrain from contact with her. He was forbidden from possessing guns or ammunition or travelling outside Florida.

Zimmerman has been charged with aggravated assault, a third-degree felony punishable by up to five years in prison. He also has been charged with battery and criminal mischief, both misdemeanors. An arraignment was set for Jan. 7.

Schott said Zimmerman's previous brushes with the law were not a factor in the conditions he imposed, but he did cite the new allegation of choking as a reason for the bond amount.

Earlier this year, Zimmerman was acquitted of all charges in the fatal shooting of teenager Trayvon Martin in a case that drew worldwide attention.

Zimmerman, 30, wore gray jail garments and handcuffs during the hearing and spoke only when answering yes or no to the judge.

Public defender Jeff Dowdy said Zimmerman's family has been supporting him financially.

"I would think it would be difficult for George Zimmerman to get a job in central Florida," he said.

Dowdy and another public defender, Daniel Megaro, said Zimmerman was not suicidal despite what the prosecutor said.

"He doesn't appear to be a danger to himself or a danger to anybody else," Megaro said.

Zimmerman has previously used a website to raise money for his legal and living expenses, including $95,000 spent on bail in the Trayvon Martin case. The site also says tens of thousands of dollars were spent on living expenses and security.

The most recent posting on the site, weeks before Zimmerman's acquittal, said the fund ran out of money in late May but raised tens of thousands more after public requests for help.

In this latest scuffle, both Zimmerman and his girlfriend called 911 and provided dueling descriptions to dispatchers about the argument at the home she rented where Zimmerman was also staying.

Scheibe accused him in the emergency call of pointing a gun at her, smashing a coffee table and then pushing her outside. Zimmerman also called dispatchers, denied pointing a gun at her and blamed her for the broken table.

The girlfriend told deputies the ordeal started with a verbal argument and that she asked Zimmerman to leave the house. Her account in the arrest report says he began packing his belongings, including a shotgun and an assault rifle. She says she began putting his things in the living room and outside the house, and he became upset.

At that point, the report said, he took the shotgun out of its case.

Zimmerman told his girlfriend to leave and smashed a pair of her sunglasses as she walked toward the front door, the report said. Scheibe told deputies he pushed her out of the house when she got close to the door.

"You point your gun at my fricking face," Scheibe is heard telling Zimmerman on a 911 call. "Get out of my house. Do not push me out of my house. Please get out of my house."

Seconds later, she told the dispatcher, "You kidding me? He pushed me out of my house and locked me out. ... He knows how to do this. He knows how to play this game."

Moments later, Zimmerman called 911 from inside house to tell his side of the story.[/quote]

Yeah, I've been following this...I saw his court appearance this morning...I was going to start a thread about it...

George sure seems to have had some really rotten luck when it comes to the fairer sex...

Seems like every woman he gets involved with attacks him and then calls the police claiming he attacked her...(This is the third one...This one even went so far as to break her own furniture to make it look convincing...)

Maybe he ought try signing up with E Harmony....

Let's see, the cops are banging on his door and windows, so he calls 911. He just wants "everyone to know the truth", but then tells the dispatcher he has "nothing to say." His girlfriend threw him out, but then went crazy 'cause he was leaving, and now he's the one still in the house while she's outside with the cops.

It's no wonder this guy could kill a kid in cold blood while simply defending himself from attack.

He is a psychopath and congenital liar. He should be a permanent guest of the Florida Department of Corrections.
