You missed Jane Badler...:

I was quite keen on her back in the early 80s...

I didn't find out she was an Aussie till a few months ago...

(Like most Australian actors and actresses who are successful in the US, she did a really good job of concealing that unpleasant sounding Australian nasal twang; sort of cockney, but less posh... :P )

Another actress who did a really good job of concealing the fact that she was from "down under" (Well, not Australian exactly... New Zealand actually...but that's pretty much the same thing, right? 8-) )

Isn't Crowe a Kiwi too?

Gibson was born and partially raised in the US so they can take responsibility for that train wreck!
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

No, we're giving him back; he's all yours...

Funny thing about Gibson...

In the original Mad Max flick, he had a very thick and pronounced Aussie accent...

But by the time he was making the Lethal Weapon movies, he sounded like he could have grown up in Ohio....

Two more Aussies on Fringe - Probably the best show from the US in the last decade.

Anna Torv and John Noble

Another funny twist to Gibson's accent history was his performance as Fletcher Christian in Bounty...

There you had an Australian actor who had suppressed his native accent, and learned how to speak "American" with no accent, then turning around and doing a role with a phony British accent.... :)
