Judged by a couple of professional artists. I came in third place with this shot (which I didn't think was the best of the ones I submitted, but I do still love it):

To Sue U. He's holding the bat sideways. The label should be on top.

Great photo. Wouldn't it be fun if you could take pictures in the court room?

It's a great picture, a real slice of Americana...

I imagine when most folks look at that, it brings back fond memories...(it did for me)

Its one of my favorites. I was surprised that one didn't get any notice from the judges. I think it is a much better and more artistic photo than the one they recognized -- and far better than the photo ahead of me (also boats). But then, it just goes to show again that art is entirely subjective.

U-10 Little League, summer ball. Much fun! The kid is rather good, if I do say so myself.
