The Gettysburg Address was apparently written by H.P. Lovecraft...

was likened to Stephanie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Series .

So that's one absolutely correct then?

However in the original German, he writes like Kurt Vonnegut...
I like that scene in Back to School where Rodney Dangerfield hires Vonnegut to write an essay on Vonnegut's work, and the professor (Sally Kellerman) says, "whoever wrote this doesn't know the first thing about Kurt Vonnegut!"

Evidently the preamble to the Constitution was written by James Fenimore Cooper

It's confusing or perhaps appropriate - Jack London came from my Flashman novel
For my African stories I got James Joyce
And the Meade letters yielded Jane Austen.

The last one made me happy (doesn't take much do it?)

A letter I just wrote to a customer gave me Charles Dickens.

Those are only to be used for writing cheques and in the ledger.

No, but I am wearing my Bob Cratchit-style fingerless gloves, on account of how it's colder in the shop than it is outside...

Part of Bob's job is "stoking the fire". If it's cold in there he obviously is not doing his job. Dock him a days pay. :arg
