Well, credit where credit is due, I have to say, Baldwin pretty much nailed it...
He had the voice, the inflections, the mannerisms, and facial expressions, all down to a tee...
Probably the most dead-on Trump impersonation I've seen...
The Trump people ought to sit Donald down and make him watch this, (though he's undoubtedly already seen it) just like Gore's campaign advisers did after his first debate parody on SNL in 2000...
Because just like then, the parody isn't all that far off from the reality...
But unlike Gore's "was I really that bad?" reaction, Tubby Don will probably say, "Okay, so what's the problem?"

Just bumping this to say that Alec Baldwin continuing to play Donald Trump is the ONLY positive thing to have resulted from the election thus far, IMHO. He's hilarious and this past weekend's cold open was another great one.
For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.
