We always call cablevision and always get a price reduction usually to what they are offering new subscribers.
They even through in some premium channels (HBO or Showtime,not that I ever watch them. Couldn't even tell you what channels they occupy) along wiith the reduced rates.
They count on a percentage of people not calling and just paying.
