. . . when I found out that Mick Jagger does back-up vocals in Carly Simon's You're So Vain.
Maybe everybody knew and it's just me that's been under a rock for the last 50 years. If you listen to the song it's so obvious.
I was today years old . . .

It was well known at the time. It was at least on the airwaves here in the San Francisco Bay Area. I remember one (incorrect) story that was put out when the song was popular that Carly Simon was singing about Mick and she cleverly talked him into recording the song with him.

Re: I was today years old . . .
Well, I'm yesterday years old. So in total irrelevance I add that since childhood I have thought that the hook on "I've got a lovely bunch of coconuts" was this:
"Singing roll a bowl a' balls penny a pinch"
[and wondered why a person would have a bowl of balls] when it's actually
"Singing roll a bowl a ball a penny a pitch"
Just yesterday I was humming the line (as one does) and it dawned on me that the last word must be "pitch" - as in 'throw'. Which Dr Google just confirmed. 'Pitch' makes sense to an American but never occurred to yester-yore-me
But then I've never seen anyone succeed at a coconut shy by rolling or bowling a ball.

For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I remember singing, "Rolla bowla bowla Benny's a bitch" when I was about 5 yrs old.
Then my mother heard me sing it and I never sang it that way again.
