In the 60s I was in love with her of course; but I didn't know until today when I read in the Guardian that my rivals were, among others, David Bowie, Bob Dylan and Mick Jagger.

Good thing I knew to quit when I wasn't ahead.

I guess you were in good company, with me included. I recall my parents had one of her albums and I listened to it again and again.

I just read she was 80; how come all these people are getting older except for me?
