Just Shot Jeopardy in the Head

Why doesn’t someone take poor old Jeppie out back and shoot it in the head and end its suffering. It’s clearly in misery.

There was a time when Jeopardy! challenged viewers with academic questions: history, science, mathematics. It was a show where you could test your knowledge, learn something new, and genuinely feel smarter for tuning in. Now, if you learn anything at all, it’s probably something not worth knowing in the first place.

Maybe it’s time for the show to call it quits or at least get back to basics. Who gives a damn about which pop star is dating which rapper? Or which football player tops some fleeting list? Who’s going to care in a hundred years?

Yes my husband and I have watched for years. The categories are not great and really tired of all the pop culture. We don’t mind one or two but sometimes it’s half the categories. The whole vibe feels off. Maybe they need new writers because it’s just not as enjoyable anymore,” added one viewer.

Wow, talk about analytical failure. Writing for an intended audience requires understanding that some readers need more context than others. I assumed it would be obvious that I was offering an example.

I don't usually click on linked articles, especially the ones in your posts. so yes — you did need to use quotes or put the text in a
'quote' box.   Why do you think the phpBB Forum software HAS the quote button?
