Oh, now addiction is understood and not used derogatorily? No worries, I always knew that. :D

Addiction to what Lo?

Buffy?
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

Ok, ok, I confess - I'm a Buffy addict. I bought the DVD set of the series and have watched them over and over. I can't help myself. That instant when Buffy stakes a vamp and it crumbles into dust gives me such a rush. And everytime she whipkicks a demon in the head she's wearing such FABULOUS shoes. What gay boy wouldn't appreciate that?

Cheers for that Hen.

Does anyone know where I can get a needle sharp enough to poke out my mind's eye?

Jim, Jim, Jim..

You're pop culture knowledge is sadly lacking...

This lesbian....

Actually, she's bi. Dated a male werewolf for most of the seasons, then fell in love with a chick and literally turned into a witch.

She dated a guy for about a season and a half (from the end of season two to the beginning of season four), and from the point she definitively chose between him and her new girlfriend, about half way thru season four, she identified as a lesbian. She didn't "turn into" a witch, she was always a witch who discovered and developed her powers over time.

I have never seen the show, not even in passing. The whole vampire, werewolves, zombie thing never appealed to me.

I saw maybe two full episodes, watched with my lesbian friend who was a huge fan. She'd watched many a documentary with me, so I figured I owed her.

I don't get into the whole unrealistic monster craze either, with the exception of the original Dracula and Zombieland, which my BF introduced me to and which was highly entertaining. Oh, and also Shaun of the Dead.
