Self portrait
Re: Self portrait
Oh dear. Just when you thin she can't possibly be any more stupid...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: Self portrait
It's an act Sean, she's really not that stupid.
Just really screwed up and desperate for attention...

As if your attention or not, mattered. The BBC has concurred with other's and my opinion, that the Daily Fails;

As Britain descends into one of its regular bouts of self examination, it's worth asking whether the country's tabloids are really so much worse than those elsewhere. How do they stack up against rivals across the Atlantic, where the New York Post, another Murdoch property, faces a lawsuit over its claims that the maid at the center of an attempted rape case against Dominic Strauss-Kahn was a prostitute. And what about the rest of Europe?
Steven Barnett, professor of communications at Westminster University, is in no doubt that Britain's tabloids go further than any others.
"Time and time again, particularly in the last three or four years when I travel for work, I'm asked 'what is it about our tabloid press?'" he told Reuters. "Why are they so outrageous and why is nothing done about it? I think the rest of the world looks on in astonishment frankly."
...
It doesn't help that the press watchdog is so weak. In Britain, the press is self-regulated by a body called the Press Complaints Commission, which can require a paper to publish its rulings on complaints against newspapers but little else. Even its gentlest critics call it toothless; one British parliamentarian this week described it as a "fishnet condom".
Given British tabloids' reputation, why the outrage over this case? It's one thing to target non-celebrities, many in the UK have noted this week, and another to go after the victims of crime and terrorism.
"Private Eye has long used the derogatory term 'hacks' to describe British journalists," said Ian Hislop, editor of Private Eye, a satirical bi-weekly magazine that has made media excesses a staple of its columns and is also a vigorous critic of Murdoch's companies. "We had no idea that under Rupert Murdoch's malign influence, so many of them would take the term literally," he told Reuters in an email.
Other democracies "every bit as strong and robust as ours" thrive without the "nauseating tabloid coverage and routine intrusion into ordinary people's private lives," said Westminster University's Barnett." In terms of the tactics that they use and the way they routinely invade people's privacy without any regard for the impact on those individuals, I think the Italians and others would still regard the British press as even below theirs. As do Americans."
As they say in my country, Boo-Yah Beaucoup! I'm wit'da Beeb beast
Re: Self portrait
What does the Rueters article you linked to have to do with the BBC?
When did Steven Barnett, professor of communications at Westminster University, become "The BBC"?
Which part of the OP "fails"
First you accuse the Mail of "lifting" the article from Caters News, and get laughed at when it's shown that Caters News is a supplier to many respectable news papers, then you accuse the mail of failing? So which is it oh useless attention whore?
Is the article a "fail" due to it being printed in the Mail?
Or are you still accusing the Mail of "lifting" it from Caters news?
I feel sorry for you, almost, having to go to such extreme abasements just to get attention to yourself.

Re: Self portrait
The Op lifted it's photo shoot from Caters News, because it's reputable photo journalism; as opposed to the Daily Mail.
The BBC and Reuters work/link together often as reputable associates.
No news site says they turn to the Daily Fail as a source, like they do to Reuters and BBC.
What you think of me is irrelevant to these facts. and...

What do you mean by "lifted"? It bought a story from them, just as many other papers do.loCAtek wrote:The Op lifted it's photo shoot from Caters News, because it's reputable photo journalism; as opposed to the Daily Mail.
What does this have to do with anything at all, and why did you claim you were "wit'da Beeb beast", when you had not linked not referred to the BBC in any way?The BBC and Reuters work/link together often as reputable associates.

The thing that is relevant, is that the crap you post is not "facts", has no relation to the OP, that you are being stupid to get attention, and you have no proven a single point you have made in this thread. What you think of me is irrelevant to these facts.
It's also a fine example of how a thread which was only posted here as it was something nice to share, has been fucked around and about by your attention seeking stupidity.

Re: Self portrait
For the same reason that I would shoot a badly wounded animal...
Lo, Caters News and Reuters are what we call News Agencies (look it up). They sell stories and photos to News Outlets (look that up too). The Daily Mail is not a News Agency but a News Outlet. That is why nobody buys stories from it. It has none for sale.

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?
Re: Self portrait
Granted, no news for sale; one has to look else where for that.
Re: Self portrait
So, is that an admission that you didn't really understand what you were posting, when you disrupted this thread with your totally wrong and stupid posts?

You must understand Strop... Loca probably thinks Nandos are disreputable because they don't supply chicken to KFC...

Re: Self portrait
FYI folks, Sean don't speak for me; he's delusional/arrogant if he thinks so.

LMAO - Somebody needs to try and translate your gibberish...

Re: Self portrait
Thank goodness this is all completed then and a jolly good outcome too.
I love the monkey picture and I am pleased that the Daily Mail ran with it. Now we have a brand new avatar on Plan B, all thanks to the Daily Mail.
(At this rate I will start a subscription to that newspaper. For some reason they seem to becoming my favourite news disseminators.)
