Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are turning their backs on acting for good.
The 25-year-old twins came to fame as infants starring in TV series Full House. But they have been focused instead on building their fashion empire, which includes labels The Row and Elizabeth and James.
And now they say they're happy to leave the entertainment industry behind.
Their last acting job was in 2004 with movie New York Minute and the pair don't plan on returning to Hollywood any time soon.
"It was time to step behind the process," Ashley tells the April edition of British magazine Elle.
"I wanted to work on other things. It doesn't mean I'm not interested in Hollywood. I like the way it operates, I like the people who are involved and the sense of possibility. But if I ever get back in, it's not going to be as an actress."
Mary-Kate agreed with her sister adding, "It just felt right to move away."

“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Oh?
I didn't know they could act?
Did they learn that after doing Full House?

For me, it is far better to grasp the Universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring.

Re: Meanwhile, over in WGAF news
So they've not been offered any roles since 2004 and have now decided that they don't want to act.
Right...
Right...
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

They are laughing all the way to the bank; they're both pretty insanely wealthy.
