Bets pop song of the 80's.
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

My god I had a boner for Lene back in the day.
and Nina.

Both together would have been fun.

They wouldn't have thought so
For Christianity, by identifying truth with faith, must teach-and, properly understood, does teach-that any interference with the truth is immoral. A Christian with faith has nothing to fear from the facts

I can listen to anything Clannad, or their sister Enya, for hours. The voice as an instrument... who needs to know the lyrics?

Lorelei Lyrics
Cocteau Twins

Get off the car Kick his chain Kick his pride Get him soaked hit run
Lift up your toes In my mouth And we can make love And we can go And we can go And we can go
We're covered by the sacred fire When you come to me You come to me broke
Get off the car Kick his chain Kick his pride Get him soaked hit run
Lift up your toes In my mouth And we can make love And we can go
And we can go And we can go And we can go And we can go
We're covered by the sacred fire When you come to me You come to me broke
Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt
Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt
Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt Without a doubt
We're covered by the sacred fire When you come to me You come to me broke
Guilty girl, guilty boy Get to make out Him chocked with mousse
Lift up your toes In my mouth And we can make love And we can go
Guilty girl, guilty boy Get to make out Him chocked with mousse
Lift up your toes In my mouth And we can make love And we can go

Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

It is not "banned in the USA," as there is no such thing; no government agency has ever decreed that Song of the South (from which the clip of the song -- which won an Academy Award -- is excerpted) may not be shown. Disney has simply not released a home video version for the U.S. market. The film (1946) was re-released theatrically in 1956, 1972, 1981 and 1986. However, Disney has decided that its obvious racism makes it a poor marketing choice for the U.S.

Why you want to introduce this song with the claim that it (or the film it is in) is "banned" is beyond me.

ETA:

By the way, I read that James Baskett, who sings the song, was the first live-action actor ever hired by Disney Studios to appear in an animated film. (That's apparently not counting Leopold Stokowski, who appeared in Fantasia, since he wasn't an actor.)
