Ever seen a National Geographic special about how baboons attack? Now compare that to the actions of these four poor, misunderstood young black people; or look back at some of the video of the looting in Ferguson or Milwaukee or wherever else the poor downtrodden black peoples have been forced to lash out against the injustices that society has saddled them with.

Because, off the top of my head, about the only "racist" terms I can think of for white people are "white bread", "crackers", "hillbillies", "rednecks", "honkies", or "whitey" — and the last two are generally only used among blacks when referring to whites; any others tend to start referring to ethnic characteristics, like "Cajun", "Polack", "Mick", "Kraut", etc.  If you know of any others, however, feel free to educate me about them.  If I'm going to be a racist in your eyes, I suppose it's only right that I be a well-rounded one.

By the way — thank you for the video clip.  I'll let the powers that be in the Snowflake Scouts know you are well on your way to fulfilling all the requirements for your SJW merit badge.

Yes, I suppose I could agree with you ... but then we'd both be wrong, wouldn't we?

All this over a TV show? More reasons not to watch it. :shrug :nana

Now excema, that I do know about. Got some on the small of my back. Got some ointment (non cortizone based as I am allergic to cortizone) from the doc that keeps it in check. Right now it is all but gone, but it could flare up at any time. Don't know if I will watch a tv show about it though.

There is no excema in Vikings.

If you are in a good mood and want to snap out of it so you can end the day depressed, you should binge watch The Night Of. I agree the acting is good, the script is generally believable and well written. Turturro makes the mini-series work. It was cool seeing Omar (from The Wire), who also did a fine job. But morose does not begin to describe the mood.

I was in a good mood when I went to law school, then 19 years of exposure to the realities of our legal system, especially the criminal injustice system, destroyed my physical health and left me permanently sad.

Consider yourself lucky to have only endured a peek into it.

I am hardly ever sad anymore. Can't remember the last time. Not watching much tv has helped, but overall I think it's what I learned/did in AA. Nothing like a spiritual experience/psychic change/spiritual awakening (aka attitude adjustment) to brighten up ones life. (at least for me it has).
