And the song title Kristina? ;)
Why is it that when Miley Cyrus gets naked and licks a hammer it's 'art' and 'edgy' but when I do it I'm 'drunk' and 'banned from the hardware store'?

"Eyes of the World"

next challenge:

Day time makes me wonder why you left me
night time makes me wonder what I said
next time are the words I'd like to plan on
but, last time was the only thing you said.

Blue Umbrella by John Prine (This was Liz again.)

Burnin' up
Don't know just how far that I can go
(Just how far I go)
Soon be home
Only just a few miles down the road
I can make it
I know I can
You broke the boy in me
But you won't break the man

Nice and easy for a change...

Yeah the Dealer was a killer he was evil and mean
And he was jealous of the fire in her eyes
He snorted his coke through a century note
And he swore that Boone would die

Della & the Dealer, Hoyt Axton

(I despise that song.)
If you want my views of history
Then there's something you should know
The three men I admire most
Are Curly, Larry and Mo!
If you don't worry 'bout the future,
Sooner or later it's the past
And if they say the thrill is gone,
Then it's time to take it back
If the thrill is gone,
Then it's time to take it back
Treat Gaza like Carthage.

Well I'd love to join in Jarl, but obscure C&W songs are not my forte. (By obscure, I mean less well known than "Ruby don't take your love to town," or "Jolene".)
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Everything Louder Than Everything Else - Meat Loaf

If music be the food of love
then laughter is its queen
and likewise if behind is in front
then dirt in truth is clean
All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

Whiter Shade of Pale - Procul Harum

Rode down the highway
Broke the limit, we hit the town
Went through to Texas, yeah Texas
And we had some fun
We met some girls
Some dancers who gave a good time
Broke all the rules, played all the fools
Yeah, yeah, they, they, they blew our minds

ACDC - ThunderStruck~

The summer sun is fading as the year grows old
And darker days are drawing near
The winter winds will be much colder
Now you're not here

Now there's a classic rock quote, first heard passing from a person unknown, and then announced by, Ian Gillan of Deep Purple on the album "Made in Japan"
“If you trust in yourself, and believe in your dreams, and follow your star. . . you'll still get beaten by people who spent their time working hard and learning things and weren't so lazy.”

Too easy Timster!

Forever Autumn - The Moody Blues

We go inside the place is a mess
She said my name's the liquid poetess
She unties her mouth
And her buckskin dress
She drinks from a bottle
Labeled tenderness

Aye an' a bit of Mackeral settler rack and ruin
ran it doon by the haim, 'ma place
well I slapped me and I slapped it doon in the side
and I cried, cried, cried.

Bugger! I know it's Pink Floyd but having never been a fan I don't recall what it's called... All I can remember is that it's a loooong name and something to do with animals...

Over to somebody who can tolerate Floyd's musical wanking... ;)

You choose the next song.

Cheers Tim. Try this...

To me you're like a growing addiction
That I can't deny
Won't you tell me is that healthy, baby
But did you know that when it snows
My eyes become large
And the light that you shine can be seen
