Ok, ok, I confess - I'm a Buffy addict. I bought the DVD set of the series and have watched them over and over. I can't help myself. That instant when Buffy stakes a vamp and it crumbles into dust gives me such a rush. And everytime she whipkicks a demon in the head she's wearing such FABULOUS shoes. What gay boy wouldn't appreciate that?

She dated a guy for about a season and a half (from the end of season two to the beginning of season four), and from the point she definitively chose between him and her new girlfriend, about half way thru season four, she identified as a lesbian. She didn't "turn into" a witch, she was always a witch who discovered and developed her powers over time.

I saw maybe two full episodes, watched with my lesbian friend who was a huge fan. She'd watched many a documentary with me, so I figured I owed her.

I don't get into the whole unrealistic monster craze either, with the exception of the original Dracula and Zombieland, which my BF introduced me to and which was highly entertaining. Oh, and also Shaun of the Dead.
